TERMINAL ADVISORY 2026 |
Dear Valued Clients,
Please be advised that Motukea International Terminal (MIT) will be conducting an HSSE Emergency Chemical Spill Drill tomorrow 17th of April, 2026.
The purpose of this exercise is to simulate a realistic emergency scenario under actual operating conditions. As such, there will be no planned suspension of terminal gate operations, vessel activities, or billing processes during the drill. However, brief and minimal operational impacts on vessel movements and gate transactions may be experienced while the exercise is underway. The drill is expected to last approximately one (1) hour.
This activity forms part of MIT’s ongoing commitment to maintaining preparedness and strengthening our capability to respond effectively to chemical spill emergencies, as well as enhancing coordination during real-life incidents.
